About · History
Moving art since 1986.
Four decades of caring for the works that matter most to Australian artists, collectors and institutions.
Our story
Excellence in every move.
Since 1986, IAS Fine Art Logistics has been a leader in domestic and international art packing, storage and transport.
We know the value of art is never purely financial. There is always a deeper connection that money can't buy, and that belief has shaped every crate we build, every truck we run and every work we hang.

Milestones
How we got here.
1986
IAS Fine Art Logistics is founded
IAS opens its doors with one focus: art deserves specialist care, not general freight. Packing, storage and transport for artists, galleries and collectors.
Growth
A national network
Offices open in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth, linked by a fleet of custom, climate-controlled art vehicles and museum quality storerooms accredited by all major insurance underwriters.
Craft
T.E.D. Fine Art joins the family
Packing, crating and installation come in-house through T.E.D. Fine Art, a division of IAS with workshops in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
World
An international team
IAS builds a dedicated international team with full import and export expertise, direct tarmac supervision, personal couriers and long-standing ties with fine art companies worldwide.
Projects
Major projects at scale
IAS becomes the total logistics partner for Sydney Contemporary, Australia's largest art fair, serving more than 60 galleries, and installs Tracey Emin's “The Distance of Your Heart”: 67 bronze birds across 30 locations in the Sydney CBD.
Today
Indigenous owned, Supply Nation certified
Led by Managing Director Kingsley Mundey AM, a proud Indigenous Australian, IAS Logistics is a Supply Nation Certified Supplier, and IAS remains Australia's only truly national fine art logistics company.
